【あらすじ】

3歳の息子とタケルの3人で日本で暮らす。

■タケル
平凡な大学生だったが1年の英国留学中にリディアと出会いそのまま結婚した。
とりたてて優れたところがないため、安月給の会社に就職した。
不況から生活残業も禁止され、子供と妻のために出前のダブルワークを始める。
繁華街近くの3LDKマンションの家賃に四苦八苦している。

■ゲン
小太り薄毛の54歳で敏腕不動産営業だった。
2階建て8部屋のアパートや、駅前の分譲マンションの部屋を所有する小金持ち。
暇を持て余していたところ、地元密着型SNS「ジモット」でリディアが英会話を教えていることを偶然知る。
