■Story ■

Two major powers at war: Omazor and Aymar.
The stage is one of them, an island owned by Aymar, a country with a social system that ranks above women.
The main character Omazor is meritocracy, and those with power are important regardless of origin, education, age, and gender, but Aymar is a country where bloodline is emphasized.It is also because of the emphasis on maternal lineage that it is female superior.
Strategically important, the island is called"Battery Island" by both armies, and is home to Aymar's best artillery with a huge mortar(gigant )and a powerful infantry unit guarding it.
Because large ships are targeted with Gigant, Omazor's army is unable to carry out large-scale landing operations.Even if you land a small unit with a small ship looking at the gap, it is to be defeated back to a powerful infantry unit.
Such a battery island capture, Omazor army commander Colonel Bennett, was entrusted to the"Major"of the independent special Forces -.

■ストーリー■

戦争状態にあるふたつの大国、オマゾールとエイマール。
舞台はそのうちひとつ、女性上位の社会制度を持つ国エイマールが領有する島。
主人公側のオマゾールは実力主義で、力のある者は出自や学歴、年齢や性別に関係なく重用されるが、エイマールは血統が重視される国。女性上位であるのも、母系の血統を重視するがゆえ。
戦略上重要な地点であるその島は両軍から『砲台島』と呼ばれ、巨大な臼砲(ギガント )を配備するエイマール屈指の砲兵隊と、それを守備する強力な歩兵部隊が駐屯している。
大型艦船は巨大砲(ギガント)で狙い撃たれるため、オマゾール軍は大規模な上陸作戦を敢行できない。隙を見て小型船で小規模部隊を上陸させても、強力な歩兵部隊に返り討ちにされる。
そんな砲台島攻略を、オマゾール軍司令官ベネット大佐は、独立特殊部隊の『少佐』に一任した――。
