Tomatoes Are a Kind of Fruit

In the fraught aftermath of a breakup, Tom makes an impulsive decision that takes him back to the quirky queer seaside town he grew up in, to reunite with an old flame. From high-school best friends, to first-time lovers, and finally, just two people who keep failing to stay in touch, neither is sure what to call this thing they have between them anymore. Time has changed them both. Do labels even matter?

Unfortunately the original story I planned grew so much larger when I sat down to write it, much more than I had time to complete for this jam, so this is more like a first chapter. I plan to continue with the story after the conclusion of the jam. I hope you'll stick around.
