The Lies of Cleo State

Cleopatra State University is not what it appears to be. Truly, nobody who hasn't attended this elite university knows what life is like. On an island off the coast of San Francisco, California, a paradise of carnal pleasure runs rampant. On the inside, however, the secrecy of the island is prioritized above all else.

Elena Barrow- a young investigative journalist- catches wind that there might be more going on there than a simple college campus. Trained in the culture of the island, Elena attempts to discover the secrets she knows to exist there, to share them with the world.

Claire Vaughn- a college freshman and a total outsider to Cleo State- has been accepted and the exorbitant tuition fee paid via her parents' recent lottery win. Thrust into a strange new world, Claire attempts to make the best of what seems to be an awful situation, one growing less and less awful by the day.

Vivian Tudor- the scion of a business executive- is hopelessly lost as she barely comprehends the world she lives in. Her focus is on the night, the party scene, the indulgence in lust, consequences be damned. Forced into responsibility, Vivian pushes all duties onto her subordinates, never learning the true meaning of leadership.
