RPG Maker engine slows down when we use games with resolutions above its default (816x624). Initially the game was at 1920x1080, but it was too heavy to run, so I reduced it to 1280x720, and even so, the game's performance was affected... 

The game was tested on an old laptop, with i5-2520m 2.5ghz and 4GB RAM: 

FPS~50 exploration without Ligthing Effects (OFF) 

FPS~30 in battle with Animation Speed: 1.
