                                                                - Game introduction -

Ougen is an Action Bullet-Hell game, that can be played with just your mouse. This game features a complete story, 16 stages with a roster of 5 playable characters and 28+ unique pieces of equipment to mix and match to whatever playstyle you desire. 

Character introduction:

Metal is the protagonist of the Steel Dragon arc.

After losing his parents alongside his clan to a mysterious girl who wields flame, he sets out 10 years later to find her and avenge his clan.

-Playable character-

Dr. Noelle Valentine appears in the Steel dragon arc and is Metal's companion.

Noelle is a scientist who is looking for her lab partner. She holds a dark secret that is unknown to many.

she helps to manage your equipment in game.

-NPC-

Sensei Kung Ku appears in the tutorial level giving aid to newcomers.

A mysterious man who takes on both the appearance of beast and man.

just who is he?

Q. Is this game supposed to be this hard?

A. yes :)

                                                                - This game is vague-

Q. This game is confusing and i don't understand the direction of it.

A. Part of this game is to figure things out, as it is a relatively quick game that can be beaten in about an hour or so if you know what to do,  so I left things kinda vague on purpose, because I believe that if a player spends enough time with this game they will eventually figure out all of its systems and mechanics, and I believe that figuring something out is more fun than being told everything about the game.

Q. How long did it take to develop this game and how long have you been developing games for?

A. This game has been in development for about 2 years. I have around 10 years of game development experience and haven't really released anything for a while because I wasn't satisfied with the end result of most of my other projects.

                                                                      -Free game-

Q. Why is this game free?

A. At the time of me writing out my reply, I have no means of making it paid at the moment, so I guess you guys can just have it for free... until I find a way that is >:) ..... but that also means no donations either :'( .  But for real this game was always going to be free and I was expecting to let people donate to me if they chose too, however I don't have my donation system set up yet so it's just a 100% free game.

                                                                       -Future plans-

Q. Will this game receive updates, future content, bug fixes etc. 

A. If the game receives enough positive reception then definitely, as I already have tons of ideas for new content, characters, stages, stories etc.

-  Message from developer kibble Cutter - 

Making this game has caused my hairline to recede, you just cant see it because I drew myself with more hair than I have in real life.
