Orcs and Stars (VN System Test)

Orcs and Stars is my attempt at a Visual Novel / Adventure Game hybrid. I'd like to release several chapters of the story in this format. The idea is to make something that looks like a playable black and white manga with adult gay / bara content I can release between my larger 3d projects.

Soul Traveler Tian is sent to a planet on the brink of destruction, forced into the body of a recently deceased lizard man. His task is to save this world -- by any means necessary. He'll not have to do this alone. Various people and monsters will join his cause. Orcs, dragons, demons and more. And then there's the matter of his host's boyfriend...

This prototype covers an early intro sequence with some minor puzzle solving and a few optional sex scenes. It should show off what's possible with my VN/Adventure framework. The game plays like a classic first person point'n click adventure. Use interaction icons and inventory items on hotspots and select dialog options to move the story forward.

I'd like to release all chapters for free with limited resolution and have special donation versions available. The prototype shows off this lower-res pixel style. There's a tint effect if you want some color, but the art itself remains black and white.
