Katsuragi Kuon, an apprentice of Onmyoji, has managed to regain his normal life after a battle with the devil cult.
Along with his father, Kimihiro, he continues to practice to control the power of the demon fox within him, while also exterminating evil spirits.

It was a rumor that the remnants of the demon Cult branch that had been destroyed before are hiding nearby and aiming for resurrection.
Although it is a rumor, it cannot be ignored, so Kuon and his team proceed with the investigation.

As he investigates, he finds remnants of the cult on the grounds of an old shrine deep in the mountains.
The remnants seem to be trying to dig out a powerful sword that is said to have been sealed in the shrine, and Kuon and others move to stop it.
Meanwhile, Kuon is also worried about the movements of Rei Kizuki and Eimi Saiki, who have transferred to the school at the same time.

陰陽師見習いの葛木久遠（かつらぎ くおん）は、悪魔教団との戦いの後、どうにか普段の生活を取り戻していた。
父の公弘（きみひろ）と共に悪霊退治も続けつつ、自分の内にある妖狐の力を制御するための修行を続けている。

近頃は比較的穏やかな日々が続いていたが、ある日、不穏な話を耳にする。
それは、以前壊滅させた悪魔教団支部の残党が、近くに隠れ住んで復活を目指しているという噂だった。
噂とは言え無視はできないため、久遠たちは調査を進める。

そうして調査を進めていると、山奥にある古い神社の敷地で教団の残党たちを見つける。
残党たちは神社に封印されていると言われている強い力をもった霊剣を掘り出そうとしているらしく、久遠たちはそれを阻止すべく動くことに。
そんな中、同じようなタイミングで転校してきた鬼月零（きづき れい）や斉木詠美（さいき えいみ）の動きも気になる久遠。

果たして、悪魔教団から霊剣を守り抜くことはできるのか。
それとも、再び淫獄の闇に飲み込まれてしまうのか……。
