My Past With Peter

My Past With Peter is a  persona-esque dating sim with swears, whimsical dialogue, aloof teachers, social stats, and a childhood friend you see in a different light than he might see you. From a story written by my wife many years ago comes a new perspective on dating and relationships. Please try not to cry.

SPOILERS BELOW

This game is currently 20% finished. Once you find that you're able to "Do certain activities at will", time will go on forever because there is not yet a new cutscene that will trigger once Peter's affection reaches a certain level. That's being worked on, among other things. Some school shop items do not currently function.

To initiate Harley's social arc, talk to her on the morning and in the afternoon of the second day, and be nice to her.

To Initiate Quinton's social arc, have at least 18 Confidence and talk to him on or after day 3.

To initiate Rebecca's social arc, have at least 12 Intellect and talk to her on or after day 3.

To initiate Steven's social arc, join the art club and talk to him once you have 30 Confidence.

To initiate Eric's social arc, fight him and hold your ground, which requires 15 points between Confidence and Athleticism.

You need 3 Confidence to join the gaming club, 15 Intellect to join the chess club, 75 points between Intellect and Confidence to join the student council, 12 Heart to join the art club, 1 Spirituality to join the bible club, 15 points between Confidence and Heart to join the track team, and 20 points between Heart and Confidence to join the drama club.

There are currently two ways to get suspended from school. You can either disrupt class when your teacher is having an off day three times, or you can get into a fight. In order to get into a fight, you must talk to the mohawk guy during the afternoon of day 1 while Peter is following you, and again during the afternoon of day 2 while Peter is following you. On day 3 and beyond, he will be available to fight.

The password is Cheater.

Things I plan on adding:

+ Several meaningful interactions between Michelle and students at school.

+ A character and social arc for each joinable club and sports team.

+ Individual sprites for each character with a social arc.

+ The ability to join sports teams.

+ More items to the school shop.

+ Events and easter eggs, some locked behind skill checks and maybe a few not.

+ Dialogue events where Peter comments on your suspensions, new friends, new clubs, and gets surprised if your stats are overwhelming.

+ Lots of Peter.

+ A few endings, maybe. Depending. I have an ending in mind, and it might be rude to that ending to make others. If multiple endings are included, the true ending will be made very clear.

This release functions as a parody of the Persona dating

sim model, and therefore, uses music featured in the Persona

series without the intent to profit. This is a free game and the

use of the music listed above does not disturb the market or

income of the creators of the music due to the inability for 

users to access the music outside of the game, as they are

locked behind encryption walls. 

Mac, android, and IOS builds coming eventually.
