Ian wakes up in hospital with the last 3 years of his life missing from his memories. 

Upon opening his eyes, he's greeted by a stranger that claims to be someone intimately close to him. But who is this stranger? And are they telling the truth? 

You don't play as Ian. 

You play as the stranger named Harper, Ian's ex. Harper sees Ian's sudden amnesia as an opportunity—a chance to either learn from their past mistakes and start anew, or pretend they never broke up in the first place.

Question your morals, do what is right by Ian or do what it takes to be with the love of your life.

THE CURRENT DEMO HAS...

- Genderfluid MC: Players can choose Harper's appearance and pronouns within the game. Choose between masc. and fem. presenting, and He/She/They pronoun options.

- One Love Interest: Ian Ames is the sole love interest of the game.  

- Aussie Setting: Moral Retrograde is set in Sydney, Australia. 

- Semi-animated Artwork: Moral Retrograde features blinking sprites, moving characters/backgrounds, and VFX. 

- Short Gameplay: The demo is currently only ~5k words in length, meaning it can be completed within half an hour. 

- Branching Storyline: Some choices game matter, others do not. Watch the story unfold in different ways to either help Ian regain his memories, or help yourself to be with the love of your life.

- Multiple Platforms: The game can be played on PC, Mac, Web Browser, and Mobile device (via the Itchio page). Please note that there can be loading issues when playing on mobile. For the best experience it is recommended to download and play via PC or Mac.

There are plans for the full game to also include: Abuse (social, emotional, and financial) / Blood / Yandere

The demo includes two characters with sprite artwork, we aim to add more for the full release.
