Monsters and Me

What would you do if one day you saw the world differently? What if those who were closest to you were nothing you ever imagined? In Monsters and Me, you play as Arthur, a teenager close to graduating high school with his friends.  Everything was going well until suddenly Arthur had the ability to see creatures, monsters, and beings too outlandish to believe. It's up to you to decide how you go about your relationships with your so-called friends. It's up to you to decide who you remain close to, or more accurately, who you get closer to. But be careful. 

This is a nonlinear visual novel game with 4 main routes, 3 of which you have to unlock in-game by means of the choices you make. But there are also several side endings, some good, and some very very bad. This game contains adult language, drinking, drug use, gore, and sensitive subject matter. There are no NSFW images in-game, but there are plenty of ... innuendos and suggested acts. 

The full game has: 

1. More than 43,000 words. 

2. 4 main routes/ 4 main endings.

3. A plethora of deaths, some easy and some gruesomely narrated. 

4. LGBT characters. 

5. A variety of humor that bounces between raunchy and mature.

6. Monsters Monsters Monsters. And we're not talking about the overplayed Vampires and werewolves. 

This game was built, written, and drawn by a team of 4, the first team to work under the Black Door name. We are currently creating new artwork and game features that we'll release in the coming month. Until then, we're happy for anyone and everyone to play our game for free.
