Once upon a time, a very powerful man created one of the world's greatest empires. Greatest to the degree that, in fact, it united the entire globe under its banner. 

But no one lasts forever. And the Great Emperor's time eventually came to its end. He ruled harshly, but justly. His death was mourned for many years. 

The Great Emperor had an heir, his natural son. He gave him his empire, but not his great power... 

Seeking the same power as his father's, the Emperor created copies of him. They were strong, but not as majestic as the Great Emperor himself. 

The current Emperor was brutal, and he didn't hesitate to show it. Hence, the Empire was bursting at the seams, and he sent his clones into battle to put down rebels and insurgents.

Blood washed the hands and bodies of the soulless puppets.

But when the Emperor became convinced that his power became as unchallenged as his father's, this most successful deed slipped away.

His magic was not as great as the Great Emperor's either. But it was more than enough to tear through the strong fabric of the universe and make him travel to other worlds.
