Goblin Resort

Still in early development, think of it as a proof of concept.

Goblin Resort is a first person, speed roguelite platformer, adult game, with management elements. The gameplay tests your ability to think fast on your feet, memorize, and adapt.

You play as “The Boss”, a cursed man who was given a task of managing a holiday resort in a fantasy setting. Formerly a dungeon, later goblin territory, and now a lewd paradise, open to many different races searching for a way to relax.

“The Dungeon”, as what the place is know as, has a dark secret, kept away from your “Adventuring Guests”, and you are completely on board with what is going on. After all, your supervisor has chosen you for the job, knowing full well what you are capable of.

Gameplay

In-game days are divided into 2 parts:

At the start of each day you are able to prepare yourself by visiting various management rooms to:

improve your character

choose new side objectives

manage which type of guests can visit

unlock different roleplaying scenarios for your guests

employ different workers

unlock different costumes for guests and employees

put gold in treasury

change settings for the next “Dungeon Run”

manage the intensity of lewdness you are able to take as a player

Second part of the day is where the core gameplay happens.

Each Dungeon Run has Main Objectives, and Side Objectives, latter chosen by the player.

Main Objectives

Find a room with The Magic Mirror.

Find the guest, whose face appeared in the Mirror (you might have met them on the way to the mirror, or you need to explore more)

Return to the entrance (you better remember your way out)

Side Objectives

Optional quests chosen by yourself. Completing these tasks rewards you with skill points, which are required to improve your character.

Defeat Condition

Most of the runs have a timer, and if it runs out, it’s game over. Not finishing Main Objectives means penalties, which slow down your progression. You can spend gold for no timer, so you can take it easy now, and then, and enjoy watching all the lewd activities your guests take part in.

As You Play

While platforming your way through the dungeon, you are going to:

Familiarize yourself with The Dungeon layout

Start recognizing different rooms

Plan most efficient ways of progressing

Collect gold

Micromanage your Mana

Remember your guests’ faces and their locations

Unlock chests

Avoid Traps

About Development

The game is in very early stage of development. Some features, and systems are still not implemented e.g. even though I recognize the importance of audio feedback in video games, the current build has no sound. Expect to see placeholder (all UI is to be changed in future)

Unlike most adult games I see in development, which draw people in with their lewd visuals, I concentrated on the gameplay part, and because of that the current build has no adult content, but will be added as development progresses.

I have big plans for the game, but I work on it on my own. I am developing it with expansion in mind, gradually adding missing features, more rooms, adult animations, and eventually story. All development builds are going to be free, so please try them out.
