Ghosts Of Blue - Demo
Ghosts Of Blue is a TamaRPG where you have to take care of a man named Blue and help him in his daily journeys and conflicts. All of that in a surrealistic world, where he is accompanied by three ghosts. Each represents internal struggles and mental illness.
Sometimes, inside Blue's mind, some wild Thoughts will come. This happens mostly when he's sad and his basic needs are in check. When that happens, Blue will have to face them - battle wise.
Get a job, learns things and talk to people. Build relationships and have fun - day by day, minute by minute.
Become stronger by becoming a better person and deal with depression in any way you can.
Oh, and is also a sitcom.

So, what is a TamaRPG?
It's a genre that I'm coining. It's not like I'm inventing a new genre with this game, though.
A TamaRPG is, basically, a RPG with Tamagotchi elements.
Basically, if you have stats comparable with the stats of a Tamagotchi - which is to say, social stats and/or survival needs stats - a story to follow and quests to do, then it's a TamaRPG.
Some games I'd consider a TamaRPG are:
The Sims (the handheld ones) Persona (from 3) Digimon World Survival Kids Stardew Valley Mushroom MusumeWonder Project J Etc...Thing is, I'm holding myself. What is a RPG, anyway? Is GTA: San Andreas an RPG? It has stats, you can build them, you have quests and you do roleplay as CJ. In that sense, GTA: SA would also be a TamaRPG.
Anyway, a TamaRPG is a life simulator with RPG elements. That's it.
I do think as genres as parts of an umbrela.
Castlevania: SOTN is a Platformer, but it's also a RPG, one genre does not eliminate other, but if you say that Castlevania: SOTN is a Metroidvania then you will know exactly what to expect.
And that's that. Now back to the game.
I'm considering this demo as a proof of concept, and I'm doing everything solo, so if you like it please consider support me. I have so many stuff written up and it would be such a shame not to make it.
How can you support me?
You can give me money, you can share the project, you can team up with me if you're skilled, etc... Really, any help would be apreciated.
Now for playing the game.
