Ellipsis - Chapter 1 Demo

Welcome to Chidai, where people are born with magical Runes, and Demons attack from parallel Realms. Join our Heroes as they enroll in "The Academy," a prestigious Realmwalker college, and fight against the Demon Threat in... Ellipsis.

The Plot!

In Ellipsis you play as Takashi, an orphan who miraculously manifested a Rune as an adult, as he navigates his new life in a dorm full of women.

Will you become the Realmwalker of your dreams amongst the harsh infighting, meticulous studying, complicated romance, intense training, and constant drama of the Dorm? Do you even want to? Perhaps a darker path is more to your liking?...

How will you take the story? Who will you side with in times of need? And which roommate(s) will you romance? For the first time ever, it's up to you!

How it Works:

A Branching storyline is normally impossible, since it grows exponentially and no one can keep up with the amount of paths after just a few questions.

In order to combat the problem, we've split our story into Chapters.

Each Chapter will be a branching storyline, where every question matters, taking the story in a new direction. Finishing in one of 16 Unique Endings.

From there we'll use Steam Achievements (Yes we'll be uploading to Steam soon!) and Community polls (amongst other methods) to decide what ending players liked the best. Which then will become the Cannon Route, and starting point, for the next Chapter.

So make sure to vote! You'll be pushing the story in whatever direction you want, from romance and drama to combat and power scaling, even who lives and dies!

But don't worry if you're preferred path didn't get the votes to become cannon! We will still consider all the paths that our audience liked and take that into consideration while writing the next Chapters. 

The World!

Millenia ago, a meteor shower pelted the Continent. Giant glowing crystals left the tribes of the time awestruck, and from them came a great power... power that was quickly harnessed into the first Runes.

These Runes, hereditary tattoo-like sigils that appear on the skin,  allowed them to wield the energy inside themselves to use immense reality warping abilities. But it wasn't long before conflict arose as the tribes clashed for power.

And due to this conflict a new threat emerged... Hungry for energy... 

Portals ripped open the very fabric of their Realm and Demons poured out, ravaging their lands... Only the strongest among the Clans could hold back the tide...

The world has grown since then, using their energy to build great cities and civilizations. While Realmwalkers train to venture into the Demon Realms and defeat the threat beyond the boundary.
