 How to Install Snapshot! Mods

 Step 1: Install Snapshot!

- Download and install the latest version of Snapshot!  

  ->   

- Extract the game into its own folder (for example: C:\Games\Snapshot!)

 Step 2: Find the Mods Folder

- Inside your Snapshot! game folder, there is a folder called "Mods".  

- Example path: Snapshot! V0.X\Mods\

- Don't see the Mods folder even though you have the newest version? Then create it by your own. Some zip software deletes empty folders when unpacking.

 Step 3: Install the Mod

- Download the mod .zip file.  

- Extract the contents of the .zip and copy it into the Snapshot!\Mods\... folder 

The result should look like this:  

 Snapshot! V0.X\Mods\Ebony\Ebony.ini  

✔ When you start Snapshot!, it will automatically load any mods from this folder.  

✔ You will see a text message in the top-right of the main menu when a mod is loaded.  

❌ If you don’t see the text, the mod is not in the right folder.  

   Make sure extracting the mod does not create an extra folder, e.g.  

   WRONG: Snapshot! V0.X\Mods\Ebony\Ebony\Ebony.ini  

- You can have multiple mods in parallel, each in their own folder.

WARNING

- Do not modify files that are not in the Snapshot\Mods\... folder, otherwise you risk breaking the game or losing your savegame!
