Taking place in the fictional universe of Dimensia, this is a world whose inhabitants are caught in a wild surge for power. Corporations and corrupt, upper echelon control lords slowly whittle away the freedom of the populous, masquerading behind the alluring veneer of a friendly, shiny, beautiful world. Nothing is as it seems.

You are a Freelancer, (or so the ignorant think), an imperial hand hired and trained to assassinate threats to the Empereal Lord, possibly the only entity capable of curing the sickness of corruption spreading throughout the universe. However, like everything else in this world of duplicity and disparity, you are keeping a guise. You take freelance missions from various clients aside from the Empereal Lord, falsely honoring your deceiving title of Freelancer, Merc for hire.

You are in charge of a team, hand picked (some of them literally designed) by the Empereal Lord and through your freelancing missions, you will be able to upgrade both them and yourself to steadily become more capable of taking on the rising onslaught of opponents who wish to hold the universe itself in the palm of their hand.

Travel through vibrant dimensions, alternate realms, cities and planets, meet all sorts of people and creatures, go back and forth in time, fall in love and ultimately make your choice: Become Freedom or the Freelancer.

Little does anyone know, there is another hand behind the scenes. A hand that not even the enlightened ones can see. A hand so near yet so far away...

Please note: This demo is currently in very early development. I will be uploading patches as often as possible to build this project up piece by piece. I am looking for testers who are interested in evaluating the game loop and providing feedback to make this game even better.
