Dave Rooder's Greek Myths and Legends
Hello, I'm Dave Rooder, aka Mavis Rooder, aka mavruda (I'm dude, he/him) , I'm a freelancer and I am the creator of these "Greek Myths and Legends".
This project is my own take on the Greek myths and legends, we all know about. It's a visual novel with my own artworks, and ideas, 100%based on the greek myths and legends told by various authors and sources. The novel is absolutely NSFW, as it includes explicit scenes and moments, but with one major goal - to make you laugh. This project is going to be long-term since Greek Mythology offers a huge amount of ideas for stories and scenes. I began by telling the story of the hero Peleus - who appears to be the father of Achilles. There is no main character in this visual novel, but still readers will see that they follow some specific ones at a time.
NOTE: This is not a finished project. It will be updated and my work on it is still going on, as we "speak". My further work, however, will depend on the interest of people and my supporters. The story ends at a certain spot and then it starts over - just before Asopos and his son-in-law are about to start their search for Aegina.
The second update will be as soon as I at least reach the moment with the "appearance" of Peleus.
I don't consider this a game, but more like an interactive comic strip. Still I checked "visual novel", but honestly I have no idea how to classify it. I'm confused.
This is my very first Renpy project - and I'm still learning how to use it. With that said I am not a developer and I'm counting on my artworks and the crispy animations I do.
I started to work with Renpy after December 2021. The entire January 2022 I spent reading the documentation and watching tutorials on how to work with it.
This left my patrons waiting and wondering what is going on, and why am I not updating with a thing. In order to keep people around, I decided to show them, to show you all that I was doing so far.

Trivia :
My wife criticizes my work very often. When she saw me drawing a character with the so called "ahegao" expression, she asked me : "Why does she look like a dead trout? "
