MobLab1 Presents project: Critical Visit the visual novel

The story consists of chapters system and choices of preference.

Intro:

Once upon a time, a teenage named Alex who had just finished high school and was now searching for a job. He decided to return to his hometown to visit his old neighbors and family friends, Jane and her four daughters. During his visit, he discovered that Jane's family was going through tough times and decided to stay longer. Jane had her second divorce, and yet she didn't show that until later on. Her bond with her family is getting weaker and weaker. Alex realized this was not a typical visit; it was a critical visit, as Jane had urged for his assistance. Alex wants to spend his days helping his beloved Jane, whom he has known since he was little. With their daily chores and errands, he would be set for an adventure he had never experienced in his life. Through it, Alex also goes on to change himself emotionally, physically, and sexually. As the days went by, Alex realized that he had found a new challenge. He wanted to help Jane's family in hopes of making a difference in their lives. He decided to stay in his hometown and start working there. Dive into the story of Alex and his critical visit to help his close family friends.

Characters bio:

Jane

Jane is an old family friend, especially to Alex's stepmother and Catalina. She has four daughters from two marriages. Ivy, Iris, and Imogen from the first husband

Before Alex and his family moved to New Town, he was helping Jane with daily errands as her first husband wasn't around.

Alex has a special and close relationship with Jane or Janie or Janie as he prefers to call her. He is like a son to her, if not more.

Her first husband was a coworker, and when they got separated, the rule was in her favor as she received quite good fortune.

She had several promotions and managed to buy a nice, modern house.

After that, in a meeting with her dear friend Anna, she met Tom, and they got closer. For Anna, Tom was her boyfriend, and she considered that Jane stole him.

After a few months, Jane and Tome got married, and they had a child called Alice.

The time goes on, and Jane finds out that Tom is using her for the money, as he doesn't even take good care of Alice and has been jobless for a very long time.

Tom lately was getting drunk and abusive, and without second thought, she moved on without him.

However, a state of emotional instability stormed the house, and Jane was depressed. The family bond was breaking apart.

She tended to put her four daughters in self-defense classes to protect them from what she experienced during her second marriage.

Damaged emotionally by her late husband, Jane took a break from any new relationships but didn't stop others from trying their luck.

Member of Catalina's women's center and offered help by covering Alex's expenses if he worked there.

Iris

Iris is the closest old friend to Alex, and when he left, she was upset and took her time to recover losing her bestie. Still, he visits her whenever he can.

Iris is the only daughter who didn't take martial arts because she doesn't like violence . She continues to take ballet class but this time without her partner Alex.

She is the same age as Alex, and her dream is to become a professional dancer.

Alex's arrival sparked her idea of competing in dancing contests that promised huge endurance for her dream career.

Imogen

Imogen is the second closest friend after Iris.

She used to know Alex well, and she didn't like how he was out of shape, so she offered her help.

No stranger to the gym, she loves to practice. Jane built her exercise ground on the fourth floor with beautiful views.

has a different idea of personal boundaries. 

Well-trained and fit.

Ivy

Oldest daughter and love luxuriate life.

Very demanding and gives orders that are expected to be fulfilled.

Has high standards and views on things from her own perspective.

Due to her personality, she can be irritating.

She is hard to reach and get close to.

Alice

The youngest daughter who didn't get much love from her father.

She tends to be very aggressive, and her smallest pranks cause damages to someone.

When there is a chance to make an excuse, she will hurt her sisters and anyone else around.

Olivia's closest friend, and they share similar interests and personalities.

Olivia

Alice is her closest friend, and she has learned a few fighting tricks from her.

Loves to cause trouble and get into people's heads.

Has a fan page, but her earnings are going down.

She is desperate to get her page running again.

Saw Alex as a moneymaking opportunity and took it.

Has a boyfriend, however, she named Alex to be her new boyfriend, or maybe a fake one.

Anna

Jane's  former friend's and new enemy ever since she felt betrayed.

She lives alone and has a cat named Stanley.

Lost her cat in recent events and posted a reward for whoever finds it.

Met Alex after her dog chased him to her house.

Claire

Clair is married and has one daughter.

Loves jogging and doing sports.

Met Alex when he lost his bag and she offered him to be her running partner.
