Cinder Wars: Rekindled

Cinder Wars: Rekindled is a complete makeover of my very first game,   . It  takes all the good aspects of Kingslayer and adds more content (yes, H content as well!), irons out bugs and garnishes it  all with some additional features to finally turn this game into what it always should've been.

The empire of Recyam is in turmoil - the  High King and his Holy Order reign with an iron fist and the    people are suffering under their strict regime. Until one   faithful day, a simple adventurer named Valery discovers that she possesses strange powers that could finally allow her to bring an end to her nemesis...

Follow Valery and her band of friends through a world filled with adventures and deep lore, hunt for powerful artifacts and enjoy the up to 20 hours of classical RPG gameplay.

These are the main features of Kingslayer:

A big world with tons of places to exploreQuirky "allies" you can deepen your relationship with5 different endings depending on some key choices10 big and several smaller dungeons to explore and lootA myriad of  skills and loads of equipment  - including special artifactsDozens of NPCs who will deepen your knowledge about the worldCollect  ingredients from dungeons and cook some delicious meals!

And Rekindled adds so much more to it, for example:

The Stone of Guidance that will always tell you your current main objective, as well as side mission trackers. Also, all relevant quests now have a quest marker.Dozens of new H scenes (made with Koikatsu Party)   and a  new scene room. You can toggle H content on or off at any time if you wish to play it like the original.Overhauled map design for most of the   game, more diverse dungeons,  additional treasures and side quests, etc.New music and sound effects have been added for even more variety!An in-game "artifact  hunter" that can tell you the rough location of all important items in the game   (replaces the "Godscroll" from Kingslayer).An "endings checker" that can tell you what you need to do to achieve which ending.The Labyrinth, an ever-changing  erotic trap dungeon that provides some amazing rewards...if you can actually win!   It's still pretty much in beta state, but I believe it's fine as it is.Several VisuStella  plugins that add tons of additional features and give the game a more "unique" feel than the original.
Balancing has been overhauled significantly, making the entire journey feel more smooth and less "hardcore" than the original.You can now skip or summarize the intro if you feel like getting right into  the action.Crafting has been added - use materials from monster encounters to craft a bunch of all-new weapons and armor or even some special boss loot!...and a bunch of other miscellaneous things, like fixing map glitches, improving dialogues, removing bugs, adding more NPCs and so on and so forth.

For those who want some "help" finishing the game - there's a small chest in Valery's home. If you interact with it, you get the "Secret Shop Caller" that will give you access to all kinds of cheat tools.  Just...be careful or you might softlock yourself.

Also, I would strongly recommend you to set the "Battle Animation Speed" to at least "Fast" as the default speed is  slower than some of my colleagues at work.

I'll be honest, it was a mistake to release the original Kingslayer in the state that it was. There were a ton of   issues, both for the player and also from a development standpoint. However, after spending around 200-250 hours on Rekindled, I think I'm finally satisfied with the state of the game.

While I  could've   simply released this  version as an update of Kingslayer, I've felt that it could make for a good lesson for both me and anyone   else trying to learn RPG Maker. Download both games and then see how many differences you can spot. Trust me, it'll be day and night.

I'm convinced that there will still be a few bugs left, so keep saving frequently in different slots! Drop me a quick comment   and I'll try to release bug fixes once I 've got the time.

There are less H scenes in this game than in my other games, so if you  want more, let me know. I've got tons of ideas left, just not enough time to implement them all. One thing I've had in mind for example was a prison camp that Valery needs to escape from (a male prison, of course), but that would've taken forever and I wanted to get this project done already.
