Blue Soul

Hey everyone!
I'm a university student, and this is actually my first time working on an adult visual novel — made mostly thanks to some very persistent friends of mine 😅.
It might feel a bit early to release, but I decided to share it anyway.

I'm working with a rather outdated PC setup (seriously, my GPU pleads for mercy every time I try to render a video 😩), but despite that, I’ve done my best to create high-quality visuals and scenes that feel alive.
Originally, I was going to stick to still images, but it felt too ordinary — so I decided to go with video integration to make it more dynamic.

🔧 The game is still in development. This v0.1 is relatively short, but future versions will have much more content and mechanics.

🧭 What to do in this version:

Go to the market and grab the screwdriver

Turn on your PC

Play the card game to earn money

H-scenes require $100

At night, visit the city and meet Ino

In the morning, check out the bathroom scene

And don’t forget to stop by the school secretary!

I haven’t added an in-game quest system yet, so I wanted to share this little walkthrough here.
In future updates, I plan to include boss fights with higher beings, new locations, and yes... there’s already a certain leather outfit H-scene in the works 👀.

🎨 About the visual style:

Most Ren’Py games use either 2D or 3D visuals —
But I felt that 3D lacked emotional depth, while 2D often lacked realism.
So I went with a hybrid 3D + 2D method:

All characters were created and posed in full 3D

I rendered each scene manually

This allows me to create exactly the pose I want, while keeping backgrounds consistent

The only challenge? 😅
Sometimes lighting causes color inconsistencies depending on the camera angle — so if you see some visual variance, that’s why. But I’m always tweaking and improving!

I honestly wanted to release the game entirely for free. But this took nearly 3 months to make — including learning Ren’Py, coding, rendering, and experimenting with AI tools.
So while I want people to enjoy it freely, a little support helps me a lot — especially to upgrade my hardware, which currently stares at me like “please... no more renders...” every time I work 😅
