Blessing of the Elven Village

Synopsis

“Happy Birthday! Today is your 140th birthday, and you’re now of age to begin your trial to become an adult.” Hana-Hiyoku is a village where a small community of elves resides. However, in the wake of a certain elf's birthday, a sequence of events unravels one after the other, and now it’s up to you to guide these beauties through the perils they are about to face.

Gameplay

So, what is the game about? Much like similar RPG Maker games, you’ll interact with a diverse cast of characters, building your affection with each one of them and helping them overcome their personal problems while you two get closer so that the goddess Hiyokuhime can be reborn. If that doesn’t happen, the fate of your elven friends and neighbors is not destined for happiness.

Because the residents of the village don’t want to be annexed by the mighty Arfon Empire and their Royal Army, they have to fend for themselves constantly from goblin raids and other foul beasts that seek to capture your lovely elven friends to breed them and use them as slaves. It’s up to you to protect them (or not).

I don’t know what else to tell you; if you’ve played an RPG Maker adult game, you kind of have an idea of how it’s going to go.

Scope and Future Plans

I've created a simple roadmap to illustrate how I plan to tackle my biggest enemy in game development: losing focus and feeling overwhelmed about the direction of the game. The first updates I plan to work on are focused on expanding the early game, establishing the characters properly, and introducing a bit of their character arcs.

I also want to work on the combat aspect of the game, making real-time combat feel more interesting and fluid, and with the traditional turn-based combat fleshed out, adding more enemies, skills, mechanics, and things to create a more diverse combat experience.

And yeah, there’s going to be NTR aspect to the game that is going to come much later in development, I essentially going to work completely on the vanilla side of the game until its done, and only after that I’ll be working on the “corrupt route” of the game, that is going to be optional, you will be able to play this game without experiencing NTR if it’s not your thing.

I know I have a shaky record with game developing, but I think I’ve learned a lot from my past mistakes, I have a clear direction and plan on where to go, I didn’t bite more than I could chew using unity, So I hope you give it a fair try and it is to your liking!
