Julia Maine - a young and peculiar private eye living in uptown NYC - discovers from her father's notes that many important men and women have mysteriously disappeared over the years under unknown circumstances.

One thing leads to another, and she finds herself locked in St Jeremy House, an ancient manor converted into an asylum. How did she end up like this? What can she do to get out? And why does everyone in there seem so darn obsessed with angels and demons?

Follow her as she meets new friends and tries to escape from hell's warm embrace...
