Sataryuga is a human born from a "fragment of a sign" whose destination is unknown.
At one point, he recollects his past memories and recalls that he reigned as a demon king.

And in order to challenge the battle to heaven again, it was to start the action to regain the "sign" that is the source of the power that was taken away.

かつて魔界の王として君臨し、天上に戦いを挑んだ魔王。
彼は天使たちとの死闘の末敗れ、その力の源である「しるし」を粉々に砕かれてしまった。
その「しるし」は天の軍勢の六天使により分割され、二度と目覚めることが無いよう管理される こととなったが、
「しるし」のうちの一欠片だけはいずこかへと消失し、行き先不明となってしまった。

沙田龍牙（さた りゅうが）は、その行き先不明となった「しるしの欠片」から生まれた人間。
彼はあるとき過去の記憶を取り戻し、魔王として君臨していたことを思い出す。

そして再び天上に戦いを挑むため、奪われた力の源である「しるし」を取り戻そうと行動を開始するのだった。
